Camellia Japonica 'Kerguelen' 14cm

An attractive upright and compact variety with dark green silver and white-laced evergreen foliage. Profuse candy-pink flowers with overlapping petals are produced from late winter to early spring.

Height and spread in 10 years: 1.5m x 1.2m (5ft x 4ft)

Position: Prefers a sheltered site in sun or semi-shade in well-drained organically enriched acid soil or compost.

Planting: Soak the rootball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the rootball or pot. Mix with an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established.

Plant care: Frost hardy but needs shelter from the cold northerly and easterly winds. Open blooms may be damaged by late spring frosts. any pruning that is required should be carried out immediately after flowering.
