Vitis 'Merlot' is a wonderful tightly bunched purple-blue fruiting grape vine variety. These fruits have a unique plumb flavour, which has made this vitis popular for both blending and in varietal wines. Originally from France, Merlot is late ripening - so be sure to provide some protection closer to autumn.
