Buxus semperviren (Box Hedge) is similar to Common Box with the same attributes, but even denser habit with larger (1-2cm) very shiny green leaves. Excellent selection of Box which is very frost resistant. Ideal for training for topiary or hedging.

HEDGE Suitable for formal trimmed hedges. Trim August or September. For hedges 2-5ft (60-150cm) plant 9-12ins (23-30cm) apart.

Position: Plant in well-drained soil in partial shade. Avoid scorch by sun and strong winds. If using for topiary or hedging, plant young plants just below the nursery soil mark to encourage growth from the base.
