Aphrodite’ has spiral shaped buds, which open to large, full, cup-shaped flowers with a spicy fragrance. Foliage is leathery, mid-green and large, with a good resistance to fungal diseases. It’s perfect for growing in containers but also works well in a border, and it makes an excellent cut flower.
Grow Rosa ‘Aphrodite’ in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering and mulch annually with well-rotted manure or compost.
