Ceanothus 'Silver Surprise' 3Ltr
Evergreen silver-variegated foliage with contrasting pale blue flowers in Spring. Suitable as a compact low-growing shrub or trained against a wall.
Height and spread: 2m x 1.2m (6ft x 4ft)
Position: Grow in fertile well-drained soil in full sun, sheltered from strong cold winds in winter.
Planting
Soak the rootball before planting. Place in a hole twice the diameter of the rootball or pot. Mix in an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established.
Care
Prune as required after flowering in spring. Cut out any full green shoots as they appear. Cover with frost protection fleece during periods of very cold weather
