Itea Iliciflora (Holly Leaved Sweet Spire) is a medium sized evergreen shrub. Its foliage is broad, glossy and oval and looks similar to a Holly. In mid summer long raceems of green/white flowers appear with a sweet fragrance similar looking to catkins.

Maximum Height: 5m Spread: 2.5m

Position: Grow in fertile moist well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade prefers a sheltered area.

Planting:Water the plant well remove the pot and plant in a hole large enough or container large enough to avoid disturbing the rootball. Back-fill with soil mixed with compost. Water regularly and throughout the plant's first year of growth.
