Magnolia Denudata 'Yellow River' is a medium tree with large green leaves and yellow buds. Cup shaped creamy yellow flowers are produced on bare branches in spring.

Position: Plant in moist humus-rich soil. Some protection may be needed from late winter frosts.

Planting: Water the plant well remove the pot and plant in a hole large enough or container large enough to avoid disturbing the rootball. Back-fill with soil mixed with compost. Water regularly and throughout the plant's first year of growth.
