POT SIZE GUIDE

Viburnum Rhytidophyllum, with the common name Leatherleaf Viburnum, is an evergreen garden stalwart which provides reliable year-round foliage and spring flowers. You will find it an excellent background or hedging shrub in a large or small garden.

Winter-hardy throughout most of the UK, Viburnum rhytidophyllum will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 2.5- 4 metres over a period of 10 to 20 years. If planting as a hedge, space the leatherleaf viburnum plants 1-2 metres apart, depending on how fast you want the hedge to fill in. It needs little pruning to maintain its shape. It is necessary to have more than one plant to ensure pollination and fruit set.
