Weigela florida 'Alexandra' (Wine and Roses) is a deciduous shrub thas arching shoots and oval tapered dark green leaves (the darkest foliage in this family of shrubs) that produce funnel-shaped red flowers.

Weigelia plants thrive in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny-shaded location. 'Alexandra' reaches a height and spread just short of 5ft (150cm).
