Yucca filamentosa Colour Guard, commonly known as 'variegated adam's needle' forms rosettes of evergreen leaves, rich green with a broad, central, pale yellow stripe. Panicles of creamy-white bell-shaped flowers are produced in mid summer on stems just short of 5ft (150cm).

Yucca plants are quite drought tolerant due to their thick waxy leaves so they don't require much water after establishment. However, landscape specimens always look better with regular watering during the growing season (spring and summer)...about an inch per week is enough.
