Rosa Rugosa Shrub Rose is a very disease resistant old variety in which is the parent variety to many modern shrub roses. Commonly refereed to as Rugosa rose or Japanese Rose. this rose produces suckers and has a sprawling vigorous growth pattern and is very prickly. It produces plenty of small pink fragrant flowers throughout the summer. Ideal for hedging and boundaries. After flowering this rose is produces plenty of rose hips that attract wildlife.
