Leycesteria Formosa 'Purple Rain' is a deciduous flowering rounded shrub. It has dark green foliage and attractive purple bracts with white flowers from July to September.

Size: 50-180cm Height

Spread: 180cm max

Position: Tolerates full sun and sandy drought-prone soils; Tolerates heavy clay soils.

Planting: Water the plant well remove the pot and plant in a hole large enough or container large enough to avoid disturbing the rootball. Back-fill with soil mixed with compost. Water regularly and throughout the plant's first year of growth.
