POT SIZE GUIDE

The 'Miscanthus Sinensis Strictus Dwarf' is a type of ornamental grass known for its compact, upright growth habit. This variety tends to stay shorter than most other 'Miscanthus' species, typically reaching a height of 80 to 100 cm. Its leaves are characterized by irregular yellow spots, adding unique color to the plant. In September and October, this attractive reed produces red-brown plumes that persist into winter, rising elegantly above the foliage and adding a special touch to any garden. It thrives best in a sunny location with well-drained soil. The 'Strictus Dwarf' is hardy, though it will lose its leaves in winter and regrow in spring. This grass looks great on its own, in the corner of a border, or in a pot on a terrace or balcony. To maintain its shape, prune the plant back to about 10 cm above the ground in early spring.
