Pittosporum Tenuifolium 'Elizabeth'
The foliage is oval and curled, retained year round and grey-green edged with cream and pink. Plant as a specimen or as part of a mixed or shrub border. Good in maritime coastal conditions. Ideal for growing in containers for patio, terrace and conservatory use. Often cut and used for flower arranging.
Suitable for: Full sun to very light shade in well-drained soil. Needs protection in Winter from severe cold.
Height and spread in 10 years: 4m x 2.5m (12ft x 7.5ft).
Planting
Soak the rootball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the rootball of pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established.
Care: Can be lightly clipped and trimmed into shap if required.
